DAY 01
Arrival Amritsar and local sight seeing
Our driver will pick you up from airport/ train station. Transfer to the hotel and check in. After some rest visit Golden Temple and Jaliawala Bagh.
In the afternoon around 15.00 you will drive to wagah border to witness lowering of the flag ceremony
DAY 02
Amritsar-Dalhousie (210 Kms / 07 hours)
After breakfast drive to Dalhousie. The town was established in 1854 by the British governor general Lord Dalhousie. This beautiful hill station located at the western ranges of the Himalayas.
Upon arrival check in at your hotel. Rest of the day will be at your leisure.
DAY 03
Dalhousie and Khajjiar
After breakfast drive to Khajjiar also known as the mini Switzerland of India. Visit Picturesque khajjiar lake. Return to Dalhousie and visit panch pula , Subhash Baoli. It is said that Netaji Shubash Chandra Bose spent seven months here to cure his ailing health in the year 1937. You will also visit Bulwara Mata Temple.
DAY 04
Dalhousie-Dharamshala (110 Kms / 04 hrs)
After relaxing breakfast drive to Dharamshala, located in kangra valley at an average altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level. The hill station is surrounded by a thick cover of deodar cedar trees and home to the Dalai Lama Tensing Gyatsu.
Upon arrival check in at your hotel. After some rest visit Bhagsu Naag temple and take a short walk to the Bhagsu waterfall.
DAY 05
Dharamshala Local sight seeing
After breakfast visit Tsuglagkhang complex, is the official home of the 14th Dalai lama and is the largest Tibetan temple outside the outside Tibet. Drive past Dhramshala cricket stadium, Gayatsu Monatery and Dal lake of Dharamshala.
DAY 06
Dharamshala-Chandigarh (280 kms / 08 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh airport to catch flight for onwards journey.
